Fellow tinter here, look into geoshield c2 + ceramic. Very easy to work with film and great adhesion. Also call some local glass shops, see if they have an old sliding glass door glass you could have then you can build a cheap peel board. Dry shrink prep is the way to go over dryer sheets as they’re known to cause cancer. Truck looks good 🤙🏽

I paid 520 dollars for ceramic tints on my car 5% all around with the windshield. Had to go back to the shop 3 times for them to fix it.

I like everything except the color matched fender flares. Since they dont flow with the body, them being painted just seems like an afterthought instead of the accent they used to be with the textured plastic.The plastic also served to break up the body from the wheels, which was a nice touch. Otherwise, sick truck!

Scorpion film will fail within a year from my experience, be careful! I would look into geoshield/hitek for future vehicles.

I think I paid like 350 for my crew cab to be tinted. I did legal tint all the way around so I did 5% on the back window and the back sides, then I did 35% on the front sides and a limo tint sun strip with nothing on the front. I think it looks really good but I so wish I did 15% on the front sides and probably 45% on the front…

Your limitations when it comes to tenting are far less than most. I mean, most people who try to do this themselves regret it.

The paint match flares in the front look kinda dumb now cus it doesn't match with the front bumper flare . GM needs to offer the lil piece of paint match flare for the bumper otherwise it doesn't look complete .
