Jay, son of Jafar, is by far one of the best characters in the "Descendants" franchise. He's part of the Core Four and we wouldn't have it any other way. He's a gifted tourney player, and after just a few practices, he became a dedicated team player too. Jay has changed so much since he first stepped foot in Auradon. At first, all he wanted to do was steal things and make his fellow VKs proud. Things started to change once Jay realized just how amazing Auradon Prep really was. He bonded with Evie, Mal, and Carlos and quickly got into the groove of things.

Although some "Descendants" fans would have liked to see more of Jay in "D3," there are plenty of hidden factors about him in the threequel. I have a theory that Jay is lost son of Aladdin and Jasmine. Jay reminds me a lot more of Aladdin than Jafar. I believe that Aladdin and Jasmine had a child before the villains were banished to the Isle and as one last act of revenge, Jafar steals Aladdin and Jasmine’s child and takes him to the Isle and raises him as his own.

Actually, Jay had a really horrible childhood. If you read the book "the Isle Of The Lost, " you'll see that Jafar was nOT a good parent.
