I did years in solitary confinement in Pelican Bay. I almost lost my mind like a lot of other people did. I tried religions I tried everything and this was one of the teachers that helped me. The only thing that helped me in that situation was to realize I was driving myself crazy, that I was not aware of my thoughts especially the involuntary thought stream. With mindfulness, with correct meditation I experienced things that cannot be put into words; and they were the greatest things I could have ever experienced. This man's book Freedom From the Known is what tremendously influenced me and helped me in that terrible situation.

I agree, however we can comfort one another, stand beside one another in our darkest nights. That will help us. So many times the fact that I could speak out to a close friend, their way of looking at things. helped me tremendously to be able to find my own power.

But plenty of people help people all the time! It’s literally what we’re all here to do is to help each other! And of course help ourselves, but there’s nothing wrong with reaching out for help sometimes. There’s a lot of people in the world that would be so happy to help! 💛

Yes! ... because mortal life, live & work... being single or married, having or not having a family, kids, siblings, relatives, friends, associates;

And including having any a or no faith/religion - practice virtues, meditation, praying, worshipping, chanting, singing, doing charity, cherish, enjoy & travel, etc;

And be smart or dull, rich or poor, live long or short, awake or un-awake - to practice & live a virtuous life to be a useful & good person - all these are - in the Truth of Life is a dream within one big empty *DREAM!!*

I have lost my mother on Nov 12. Prayed enough...Nobody helped us. She died after going through tremendous torture & Trauma. She had Pulmonary & Spine Tuberculosis which was diagnosed much later.. Her lungs was getting filled with water even though it has been tapped thrice. .. She was an extremely pious & innocent lady.
