In our Bible study this week we were studying about pride and humility. Pride was the whole reason Satan was kicked out of heaven. He was the most beautiful angel in heaven and he was a master and leader of music in heaven. He decided he was so “good” that he wanted to become higher than God himself. As a result God cast him and all the angels who wanted to follow him out of heaven. The Ten Commandments say “Thou shalt have no other gods before me”. This is because anything we put in our lives above Him, anytime we say, I’ll do what “makes me feel good”, we are doing just what Satan did by wanting our wishes and desires to be higher than God’s wishes and desires for us and therefore we are putting “other gods before Him” as He commands us not to.
The Bible verse saying “pride cometh before a fall” well it is very literal and we can look at Satan’s fall from heaven to see that. We have to pray without ceasing, asking for God’s will, not our own will, to happen in our lives. ♥️🙏

You really don't need to be a christian to be humble, just human. You unnecessarily muddy the waters with the addition of religion. Be humble, be human.
