My favorite thing about Loid's dynamic with his family is the lack of control he has when it comes to both of them. He's someone that's so accustomed to manipulating everything for his missions. It's so clear that he's used to being in control. But with his wife and daughter being so abnormal themselves, it's like he has to take a more genuine approach. Yor isn't the typical woman who'd throw herself at him so easily. And Anya can see right through him. I love it, I find their family dynamic very interesting.

Moments like this make you realize that even though Anya can read minds, she's still just a little girl. And as exciting as this cruise is to her, she wants to spend time with Loid and Yor.

I love how she goes from PLEASE DON'T SEND ME BACK TO THE ORPHANAGE to more and more Anya's worrying Papa. Also how her eyes are usually pinpoints when using telepathy but now are those warm child eyes that make everyone adore her. Anya is the only one who knows all of what is going on and she is getting more comfortable with being mama and papa's little girl.

The funny thing about Anya is that while her telepathy makes it really easy for her to manipulate other people and get what she wants, she is also a terrible liar 😂 so we can know she wasn't lying here. He meant that with all her heart.
