The day Loid's character grew so much more. He was a cold hearted spy whose utmost priority was his mission, but here when Anya said that she loves him and Yor and that she wants to live with them forever he had a very different reaction that he never had before and even before he could process what Anya said he saw her crying because the guy started insulting her and then he snapped, almost losing his composure and jeopardizing everything, for a child he hasn't even known a week. Such a well written scene.

Stuff like this makes me honestly believe this mission is secretly a retirement plan for Loid.
They could’ve easily had him take the place of staff, one of the targets closest and most trusted associates, or even target himself to retrieve the information.

Yet, their plan was “Get married and put a child through school.”

This is the moment spy x family won me over. It shows that Loid and Yor truly care for Anya as if she was _their_ child, instead of just a pawn to carry out a mission.

The fact that Yor's first instinct was to stand up and reach the crying child and then argue with the person hurting her insead of straight up killing him...
The fact that Loid still wanted to punch him no matter his dedication to his role and then just quitting because of his child's feelings...
These two are wonderful parents and Anya is in good hands. It's been over 2 years now, and I still like their response.

What I love about this scene is that this is showing who they are beyond the assignment. Loid is acting purely on emotion, acting as a person before he’s a spy, and for everything he’s built himself up to be, he’s a human, and this was him snapping as Anya’s father, her friend, and as a husband.

I love this scene. This comity sitting here, resting on their laurels, denying anyone with flaws from entering their school. Because the students need to be good enough for the school. But Loid returns elegant teacher to reality. That it might be the school that’s not good enough for the students.
Way to hurt him in the place that it hurts the most.

I love how it seems like Loid reacted before yor even had chance to prepare he response, like she was clicking her hands and preparing, next thing u know loid is half way across the table 😂
