Something about this player wasn't right. Turns out it was way worse than any of us expected.

I wanted to give this moment in Geometry Dash History the attention to detail it deserves. I wanted to explain all the emotions and context involved. I wanted to tell the story of the players who got robbed.

The fact that Kolo exposed space like 6 months before paqoe is something that should be brought up more since nobody believed him and he got a ton of hate from it just because he wasn't a well known player.

Specifically thanks for the last parts of this video. People can say I'm too invested in a video game and should get over it but it makes me physically angry seeing others be so accepting of a Space comeback despite the irreversable damage he's caused to the community and to the players that he took monumental recognition from. And the people that poke fun at those that feel uncomfortable with that, saying "it's just a game" and "you care too much" make me even more angry. It isn't wrong to care about something like this when it completely ruined over 2 years of the history of our incredible game and community.

I feel so bad for Trick :(( He was trying so hard to make Firework the top 1 and grinded it so much but then seeing Space come along and sweep a more difficult level is so heart breaking to hear. Hoo boy, this is gonna be a long one.
I have been on this platform for many, many years. I have seen my fair share of amazing content, and I can consistently tell when a creator is on the path to greatness.
With that being said... I cannot accurately describe how much of an impossible miracle your content is, Sami. I don't even know where to begin with the godlike quality of your most recent videos.
The editing and transitions are honestly some of the greatest, if not the SINGLE greatest I have ever seen from this platform. The the storytelling is absolutely incredible. How can you make a story about a 10 year old mobile game where a cube jumps over spikes, and it STILL feels so incredibly tragic and genuine?
Genuine might be an understatement. I don't know if i've ever seen such an uncomfortably real story as this one, a cautionary tale about actual real-life evil that presides in any kind of competition.
The interview cuts are some of my favorite parts of the story, because they really put you in the shoes of the amazing people that were dealt such massive blows by this fraud. It's really investing, and often gives off the vibe of a top-tier Summoning Salt video.
And... do I even need to talk about the music? There is not a single track that I could call bad or even just decent. The hauntingly beautiful opening of The Murdered Dancer, one of my favorite tracks ever implemented in a video. The somber piano of Professor Layton backing the tragic stories of these beloved players. The striking chords of Never Cry, No Matter What perfectly putting the viewer in the perspective of the investigating Paqoe, as she unravels the disturbing mystery. Pretty much ever track sells the atmosphere perfectly (also bonus point for including Celeste OST, probably my favorite game of all time).
Speaking of Paqoe, the way that the moderators managed to expose Space is honestly one of the most creative and out-of-the-box method's iv'e ever seen for a game. It really goes to show how much people care about the integrity of this game. Like a wise fox once said "We shouldn't let anyone tell us that we shouldn't care about a $4 mobile game, because it's the best $4 mile game out there."
"Stolen Glory" is probably the single best part of this entire duology. It was absolutely gut-wrenching to hear about all the victims of this crime, all the stolen opportunities for so many people to be in such a prestigious spotlight. The worst of it was absolutely Trick, with a year of ramming his fist (finger) against the same level, over and over and over again, only to have all of it taken away mere days before it would have finally happened.
As for my own opinion on Space, I don't think anything he can do will ever justify the damage he's caused, but I don't think that means he shouldn't get another chance. Maybe not now, but I think that someday he might be able to possibly earn some kind of respect back. Just maybe.

I could go on like this for hours, but I think you get the point. What a GODSEND of a content creator. You've quickly become one of my top 5 favorite creators on youtube, and I seriously can't wait for whatever you'll post next. As for anyone else reading this, subscribe to Samifying. He absolutely deserves it

I'm not even that deep into gd but I legit teared up when GDCrisis said he does miss hanging out with space. Imagine finding out that your, probably, the closest friend was a cheater and a liar the entire time when you thought you were having genuine moments with him. I feel terribly sorry for him and personally NEVER want to experience such a thing ever!

I have never heard the SpaceUK situation being told that is as calm or even calmer than this one. I am very glad to watch without the feeling of regret, and I am glad that the players who legitimately worked hard for their achievements got the attention they deserved.
