You must complete this step in order to remove the BivaApp malware from your Manage Extensions settings in Chrome
Visit the following address in Chrome: chrome://version/.
On that page, you should see a Profile Path line that goes to some place in C:\Users\ – navigate to that path in Windows.
In that address the folders comprised of letters are the extensions for your profile. Copy the folders somewhere else, then delete them from here. After you do this, your extensions will be 'corrupted' and won't work. Chrome's extensions tab will allow you to repair whatever you want afterwards. For now just remove the malware extension(s) (BivaApp in this case) and proceed with the rest of the guide.
