Question Period's Descent Into Irrelevance - The National Debt. Its as though we are stuck in the 80's with double digit interest rates on the national debt, calls to balance the budget and a ticking clock on Parliament Hill showing the cost minute by minute to tax-payers. Those days are long gone. We now have unemployment and inflation rates near zero and interest rates so low its called 'negative interest'. If the clock were still on Parliament Hill it would be ticking backwards! Where is the relevance to Canadians' daily lives ?

It seems that with each question period the conservatives ask the same question repeatedly expecting a different answer, such a waste of time and tax payer's money... move on to other issues, thanks.
