My little Boston is 2 1/2. We have the strongest bond that I have ever had with a dog. I agree 100% with everything said except the stubbornness. Fortunately I haven’t experienced that with my girl. I’m a retired senior so I’m able to devote most of my time with her. She is extremely smart and high energy so she knows lots of tricks. And we’ve attended OB classes and currently taking agility just for fun. She has definitely kept me moving which is a good thing. And I’m so glad that I did get insurance for her

I love Boston's. We've had 2 . The last one scratched her eye somehow. Both lived until 13 and 11. I'm getting another one someday. They can snore loud too. 😅

Mine turns 2 next month and I can honestly say, I don't think he's ever chewed up Anything that I didn't specifically give him to do so. I'm single and work, so I'm gone around 10 hrs a day but, I have a second dog as well(female German shepherd) so they have each other for companionship while I'm gone. He Is hard headed as all get out but, the most well behave/mannered, chill, and extremely loving dog ever! I don't think I've ever been loved the way I am by him. Maybe he's an anomaly, as he's the first I've ever had but, if others are like him, I couldn't recommend them enough...the only other dogs I've had that matched all the perfect qualities he has were English bull terriers...they will always be my favorite breed, hands down, but, Bostons run a close second I think(GSDs are pretty freaking amazing too if you're an experienced owner lol...figured they deserved the praise too cause my girl is one of the most intelligent, beautiful, and well minded dog I could ever dream of)

For small children would you recommend the cavalier King Charles or Boston terrier?

I've had 5 Bostons and totally disagree with your conclusion that they are stubborn and hard to train. I've never had a breed so interested in keeping me happy

I am getting more interested in a mix of Pug & french bulldog instead. 😉🐕
