The number one thing I hate about photography is editing in lightroom, the number two thing I hate is the price of everything

I agree. Count on me to support... using filters like this adds a unique identity to the photo, which makes it special... BTW I like your photos and I don't find them boring

I agree with you. Where's the fun in generating this or that with some clicks? I nice to train and get better with the practice and see actual results

I understand. There is such a charm in it. A true picture painted by light. Imagine all these little photons leaving a print on the photo paper ❤

You know why I like your channel so much? Because your videos are real and inspiring. And your photos are stunning. Many thanks for that!

You're not boring, you're chilling even in short video, and I like that, I find it is comforting.
Usually people do fast pace short that to fast to enjoy/digest.
Keep it up!

I agree. Digital is nice, but photography it ain't. You can make stunning images for sure, and get them instantly. However there is something truly satisfying when you get a roll of film processed, successes, failures and all.
Thanks for the inspiration.
I took my own Mamiya out today, a C330. I walked two miles, posted a parcel and after this shot rest, I shall go shopping.❤❤❤

Same. To my mind film photography is something about "to catch a moment as it is" and not editing in lightroom or photoshop.

Thank you for the inspiration! Today I will read the manual for my camera carefully. Photography is wonderful fun and art at the same time. Fun and art! Thank you. Warmest regards to the hero of the recording. MB

When I started photography with my Zenit I would even created my own filters with different types of papers and colors and material, like glass, etc. was so much fun.

Now I bought a Digital Camara I will do the same and experience with it 😁

Love your pictures Jean, keep going and thank you for sharing with us

I think for me it just comes down to simplicity. it’s nice to not have to buckle down on a single filter for a shot that you might not be able to replicate and when I can try multiple things and fine tune an image the way I want I personally find it really fun! but I do think physical filters are still pretty cool

As absolute fan of photography since my young years, i found nothing more fun that making them with old, very poor sony a300 i had back in the day, i took one of my most creative photos then, just becouse i was walking around, even if i have really nice camera these days. There is just nothing else more fun, than doing things that are really challenging, that make you to think. Your far from being boring man, do your work, inspire people

There is that thing in the moment captured using real filters that I cannot explain

Keep shooting man! Love your work. I personally can't stand it when photographers use tons of AI for their photos. I'll admit I've used very simple tools in GIMP to clean up minor details in some of my photos in the past, but I'd never use AI to edit my photos. Honestly I've thought about switching to shooting entirely on film just because of how authentic it is. If it weren't so expensive I'd do it, but I also do still like digital. I just try to keep it as real as possible when I edit the photos. After seeing this video, I'm going to have to try out using filters on my camera lenses!
