No property taxes on primary home is another big one in many states.

I am a wife on my husband’s account. If any of you have the misfortune to be diagnosed with ALS, please seek the help of Paralyzed American Veterans. Due to the severity of the diagnosis, the veteran is pretty well fast tracked. We live in the Dallas metroplex and we have been handled magnificently by the VA. My husband is a Vietnam Veteran diagnosed last year with ALS, 100% service connected disability. Our home has been modified to meet his needs, he has all the equipment and support he needs with this awful illness. I had to quit my job and I am his FT caregiver and I’m so blessed to be able to care for him until his first sunrise in heaven.

My wife's new Rheumatoid Arthritis medicine costs thousands of dollars. After what Medicare pays, CHAMPVA kicks in, and she has NO copay. CHAMPVA is an amazing benefit for her, especially as she starts getting older.

Can we just take a moment and give Paul Corbett a BZ on this video and on his series in general? Direct without fluff, and very informative. Thanks!

VR&E is helping me get from a really physically and mentally taxing into a field with mostly remote work and normal hours. It may genuinely be a lifesaver

Also, fly Space-A. Veterans can travel in the continental United States (CONUS) or directly between CONUS and Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam and American Samoa

The VA has served me very well. I have gone through stage 4 cancer (11 years ago), open heart surgery ( 4 years ago), and numerous other issues. Please keep your "investment" scam off this site.

News flash folks never ever tell a civilian that you are 100%.never
The resentment they have is mind boggling. Even if you are obviously disabled. No body business and you should keep it that way. I found this out the hard way. I made a remark about going to the class 6 store for my granddaughter wedding. They asked what is class 6.to try to explain it simply it is a duty free liquor store on the base . How do you get to shop there, why do military have that benefit. Why ?As is the case retired Military and disabled veterans benefits look great on paper, We know there are more exceptions then the rules.

don't forget in many states 100% disability waives your property tax i.e. don't have to pay taxes on home or car & etc.

Really helpful - I'd not known I could preapply for burial benefits, and I just competed the form! Might as well make it as easy as possible for my wife when I check out!

VR&E paid for 100% of my B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering at Colorado School of Mines. The BAH is the same for both the GI Bill and VR&E. If you're using your GI Bill, you should ask your VA rep about this program!
