There are a lot of things we need to bring together in landscape photography to get a really strong photo. Sometimes that is easier, sometimes that is more difficult, depending on the composition, on the environment, and on the sturdyness of the weather situation. This time it was extremely tricky, I have to say, and I was already all about failing massively. This is how I turned it around.

The first photo appeals to me much more than the second. The second did have magical light and if one only loved landscape was the better. However, the first had that wonderful "storm" look and it showed a human/nature interaction. These really appeal to me. I would have like to not have the white automobile in the photo but still..!

Always great videos Christian! And beautiful photos. You always manage to capture wonderful atmospheres even in less than perfect conditions.
Passo Rolle is almost a nemesis for me 😅, every time I hope to come back with a fantastic shot, but the weather is never on my side. But sometimes I have been successful like for example on August 13th where I managed to capture the entire arc of the Milky Way on the Pale di San Martino.
Despite everything every time I go to these magnificent places, even if I don't come back with a wonderful photo the important thing is to enjoy the moment, live the adventure.

I thibk that first image was very good. Except for the white car maybe next time just push it of the mountain 😅 great tips as always! Grt guido
