This is one of the best explanations of this weapon that I've heard.

Some of those reports were made at the very start of the war in Ukraine. Some very good videos on it out there on examples of how it works.

Very sensible and rational reporting as always! One thing I'll bring up is that thernobaric weapons typically don't use gas but rather very fine solid metal powders (eg aluminum or magnesium). Or they use various mixtures of liquid fuels. I've never heard of one using a gas because gas doesn't have enough mass to maintain its momentum so the dispersal charge can't disperse it very easily.

Reports? I've seen footage of Kadyvorites using them against apartment blocks in Mariupol. Published by themselves.

According to DJ Shipley there’s what he referred to as a T-bomb that can be thrown by hand and detonated. Sounds fucking not fun.

The daisy cutter is a type of thermobaric bomb that was used as early as the Vietnam War.

It’s sad how great inventions of destructive nature have been born from war. Also how the only thing that brings the world together is when it’s against one foe.

40mm grenades? By who? And are they in r&d or actually in combat?

So, people have vacuum bomb grenades now? That's fun.

Why is Russia using this weapon versus an ordinary bomb? I read a report about how it doesn’t leave evidence of body’s? Is that true? Can’t be. Can it!?

weapon concept.
Aerosolated fuel is dropped or produced in a set area and allowed to vaporize over time, spread, and if theres enough of it, struck with a catalyzing warhead, you create a similar thermobaric explosive effect, but created in 2 parts to produce a larger blast.

Dont the Russians call their big thermobaric the "Father of All Bombs"?

I love how every news reporter/article/blog/etc out there recycle the same titles, they have a meaning but its funny that they explain it: “IS PUTIN GONNA START A NUCLEAR WAR???”
“PUTIN A WAR CRIMINAL”
“60 MILE CONVOY”
“THERMOBARIC ROCKETS”
“NO FLY ZONE”
Like lmao, we get it

Exactly the way the Lebanon blast acted, release of the burning hot gas and then ignition!
