1983 will always be a most precious memory for me. It was the year I met my husband and we had almost 36 wonderful years together before he passed away.😔💔

Graduated HS in '83. Left for basic training in September. The 80s were a remarkable time in history. So many fond memories.

If you were not alive during this time, you have no clue. If I could go back to the 80's to stay for good I would in a heartbeat.

Oh, boy do I remember 1983... as if it was yesterday. The way the year was presented here, I want go back to the 1st half of the 1980s especially '83.

1983 was probably the most fascinating year of the decade for the pop music scene. Besides Michael Jackson, we witnessed sort of a second British invasion led by the debut of Culture Club, Duran Duran and the Eurythmics, and a big comeback for David Bowie, along with the Police's "Every Breath You Take" dominating the airwaves that summer.

This also happens to be the year I graduated from high school. Shout out to my fellow classmates from Bishop Fenwick! God Bless you all!

I was 10. So much nostalgia. I wish these videos could be longer and include fads, fashions, advertising and toys.

Small correction: The Beirut embassy bombing on 18 April killed 17 Americans. 241 US Marines were killed later that year in the bombing of their barracks in Beirut on 23 October.

Jim Thorpe is my home town. We are so proud to have him here, in a beautiful final resting place. His athletic prowess seemed to know no bounds, and he is a remarkable example of the miracles of the human form and of how to overcome cruelty and adversity with focus and determination.

Thank you once again for sharing this piano arrangement. It truly is the most beautiful I've heard. In 1983, my precious daughter was born, and we almost lost her as a SIDS kid. She is a beautiful and wonderful as the piano arrangement. Thank you so much for this effort

1983 I was 2 years out of high school, working at Ralph’s market in SoCal, going to concerts, and wearing a Walkman!

You have finally reached THE year for me. College graduation and my team NC State as a Cinderella team winning the NCAA basketball championship. We had a large group in our dorm watching the MASH finale. My young sister and niece loved Thriller. A bar I knew of played it via laser disc. Its sad we've become 1984 in 2021.

The year I graduated from high school and began college. I remember the very next day after I graduated was the opening of Return of the Jedi. We went early to stand in line early at the theater.

I recall much of this. The mash finale is scary as I recall my folks watching it at the ripe age of 6. My son is now 6. How time flies!
