How to perform Bidirectional Replication in Informatica Data Replication

preview_player
Показать описание
In a bidirectional replication topology, Data Replication replicates changes between two systems in both directions simultaneously. Users can write changes to both databases. The Video KB shows how can data(DML changes) be replicated in both source and target databases. To replicate the data in both directions we need to create two configs. Config 1 would be for replicating DML changes from source to target. Config2(which would be the reverse config) would be for replicating changes from target to Source.

In the Video KB, source and target are oracle and all the DMLs(Insert, update delete) have been covered in the video. IDR 951 HF2 with Oracle 11.2.0.3.0 has been used.

Also, in SQL apply mode, can we have the row marked as "D" in a virtual column in the target, if it was deleted in the source.

Hi Faraz, in the audit apply mode, can we have the old and new values of a column populated with the same value if there was no change to that column in the source. What I see is that it shows null as the old and new values if there is no change to that column.
