Hey Stu, i think it would be cool if you remade your skinning, fleshing, and boarding series. Since you have new camera gear and stuff.

Good job. Just a thought. Be nice to have a magnet on it as well to use to pick up a dropped/loses in the leafs staple.

Stu, the digging part of the hammer also helps getting up a steep creek bank when you hook a sapling with it.

I can totally appreciate this video. I just spent the day toting a 8lbs sledgehammer because I couldn't find the small one. Lol

The beginning of this video is exactly how I feel with everything! Just reinventing the damn wheel because I hate packing stuff around and beer mixed with a Tig welder = either greatness or annoyed wife haha

Great idea, just got to go pick up a new brick hammer at the store. And tig welding is the only way for this to stay together.

Excellent bro! I still have my 22oz estwing framer from the 80’s! It’s a smooth face now 🙃 ! Those used to be made in Rockford Illinois. Great vids man thank you!

I like how he picked up all the staples

You should try to make a hammer with different attachments that can be swapped out easily. You could carry a Handel and have a variety of heads that could be stored without having to deal with a Handel.

I have built a couple i went with an estwing standard brick hammer with a piece of 6 inch schedule 40 stainless pipe for digging last year but my new version is going to a 28oz framing hammer with a straight blade for digging trap beds. I dont need a sledge hammer usually i just leave it in the truck. Im making a video on it soon. I just uploaded my better trapping trowel video. Modifying and making better trapping tools never stops bud. Great design and great video i might add the hook to my hammer at some point because ive said im going to use fence staples for a while but i never do i will grab a box this season. Thanks for the info bud.

Love your videos, you are the main reason I’m getting back into trapping after being out several years

Thanks! Awesome video! I've been thinking about making my own and low and behold you made a how to video. I hope you will do a follow up video featuring the two handed sledge. Thanks again, I really enjoy your videos.

I broke the handle last season on my Estwing. Hurt like hell !! I welded black pipe on it for a new handle. Seems to be holding up nicely. Thanks for sharing.
