Andrew wasn't being an ass, in an interview once he got asked the same question and he said that what goes in between him and emma is private, i think we should respect him for that. They might be just a couple from a movie to us but between them there is a lot more to it and that's between them.

All jokes aside, their chemistry is one of the highlights of the sequel, hands down. They create the most plausible love story that I've seen in a very long time. It's a wonderful movie, and I really think everybody's gonna love it, cause it's just terrific.

Gotta respect them for wanting to keep it private. They play it off as a joke so it's cute. They wanna be known as actors not public figures who want to be in the tabloids all the time. I have nothing but respect for those two wonderful humans!

Andrew's the type of guy you don't wanna piss off. He reminds of me of a teacher I had who was all nice and told jokes and shit but one day we were being rowdy and he got mad. You could genuinely tell how annoyed Andrew was getting because Ellen wouldn’t drop it With the invasive questions but on another note Jamie Foxx is absolutely hilarious

For some weird reason, this makes me happy more than it would if he did talk about their chemistry. Their secretive gestures clearly show that something is indeed going on between them two and they are a genuine couple. Actors who act as lovers in a movie usually wouldn't hesitate to explain their chemistry and are comfortable doing so.
