This bites! From reading posts you have to purchase PS+ for PS4 to play multiplayer online games for such titles as Ghost. Not having to pay a membership was the attraction and beauty of the PlayStation platform. What makes The PS4 attractive over the Microsoft game platform when Microsoft has a much better, stronger and proven network? I am very disappointed.

On PS4, you register a certain console as your 'home console' and if you were to purchase PS+, ALL other accounts on their can access multiplayer, just like on PS3, if you (or any other person with an account on your PS3) has PS Plus, after you/they download the free game and still have the membership, YOU can play their IGC game on your console

I don't mind paying to have access to all these demos and games you're talking about. but Its stupid to pay for online. why? Because for so many online PC games you can play free without dropping a dime... you guys need to understand. you're Making consoles more and more obsolete by doing things like this. Sure a PC is expensive but there's one price you have to pay once and thats it.... you really are making me reconsider getting your console..

It's not free because by charging they can offer new things. Jack Tretton said this at a interview at E3. He said it was a choice now with twice the servers to cut it down or start charging, so they choose to start charging. He then continued to say the reason of this is because they want to upgrade it as much as they can, offer more and give the best online experience they can offer.

if you get a game for free, and your PS+ subscription runs out the game will be uninstalled and deleted from your ps3, but if you go to your download list under account management you can re-download and instal it again once you have renewed your PS+ membership, even if the game in question is no longer a part of the PS+ campaign as long as you have it on your download list you can play it again at any time.

Yes but you can't play them while you're not a member but when you renew PS+ you can carry on from the level you got to.

Same I have been playing Bioshocked 2, Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 3 and in 1 Month I will be playing NFS, 4 games i have been playing for the price of one.

I would add that there are some people who have let there sub run out and when they re-subbed ALL their PS+ games were NOT available anymore. It's rare but it DOES sometimes happen. Just a little warning. DO NOT let your sub run out. Better to be safe than sorry, that's what I say. :)

'Free' games you can download every month are limited games. When your psn plus membership is done, you can't play the game anymore there will be a lock on it.

Any game you download to your HDD or start to download but cancel stays there unless you remove them yourself. And I also think (not 100% sure on this) if you start to download a game but cancel it, if it's removed from the PS+ section they're still free because they're technically purchased.

If you're asking about them updating the store - New games are added every month and the games from the month before are replaced with the new ones, though one or two of them will stay with the new games.
