This actually makes sense, as the horse you've bred can run at roughly 40mph, whilst the fastest horse ever bred in real life can go to 43mph.

After watching this video, i was pretty curious. I did this with jump boost 2 and speed 2 ON PIGS. 10 generations. I made a flat terrain enclosed in fence and when I did not hold the carrot and stick, it would just go any literal where. With speed 2 splash, 11th gen, and carrot fed from stick: the pig moved like 2000 blocks in 1-3 seconds
