Great review. I am glad you called out the Hardwood/Tile and Carpet conundrum. I currently have a Ecovacs N8+ pro that has the same problem with removing or attaching a mopping plate. I am getting a bit tired of having to send the N8+ out multiple times taking off and adding the mopping plate each time. I want to be able to send out the robot out and not have to worry about what accessory I need to attach. Looks like the only option I have is to get the RoboRock S7 Max V which lifts the plate up when going over low pile rug/carpets (which I have).

great review...very thorough...I purchased one to replace my old iRobot but haven't received it yet...do you have it scheduled to mop everyday? I am thinking to leave out the mop pads for everyday scheduled cleanup and manually attach the mop on a Saturday/Sunday (once per week)...mostly have dog hair issue (golden retriever).

So, I see that the mop self cleans, but where does the vacuumed items empty to?

Basically if I have mostly hard floors and a rug in my house. I don’t have the option it should vacuum the rug and wash and vacuum the hard floors?
