The Meg's preferred hunting ground was tropical coasts. There is no logical reason for them to change up their preferred hunting ground to "The Deep Sea." If they still existed we would have seen them.

"How many things are down there that we don't know about?"
The current estimate for how much of living animals we've catalogued is around 98% for land-based (remaining ones being insects, or cave-dwelling fish).
And less than 20% for ocean-based (most of those being those we encounter fairly regularly near the surface)...

Possible not so fun fact - the humboldt squid can snap your leg in half with its tentacles. At least I’m pretty sure, I remember hearing a story on a “most dangerous animals” show

Aaron the kind of guy that would delay his doctor's appointment because he is sick.

The fact we know more about space than our own oceans, is both facsinating, and ABSOLUTELY terrifying.

18:48 Sound would work a whole lot better than electricity. Many creatures utilize electricity in their daily lives, so they’d be relatively resistant. But sound travels 8x faster underwater, which isn’t a good thing.

It's going to break Mike's fragile little heart when he finds out that squids are in the into shock, not totally immune but it won't kill them since mini squid have been attacked by Moray and electric eels. The shock itself doesn't kill the squid it just pisses it off and makes it grow bigger.

Is Aaron still confident about taking on the 1000 hundred pound bee swarm that is the red devil squids?

New articles have apparently pointed out that scientists have found more oceans under the crust and mantles. Who knows what potential creatures might live there

So pro tip: take a squad of sushi chefs diving with you into the deep ocean, for it may be your only chance.

Megalodons were tropic surface predators, there also just isn't enough food in the deep sea.
