In this video, we tell how we did customization to the client for the quotation approval process in Deals.

The main strategy for this approving process is that the sales agent creates a quotation and then the system chooses to coordinate this quotation with the head of the sales department or not, depending on the margin and value of the transaction and others data in Deals.

So what do we have here, left side we have agents portal, on the right side we got head of sales department portal.

So we create a deal on agents portal, and call it 'TestDeal5'.

Select any name, any company, click 'Save'.

Then we go into products
section, and add in some product,

and as you notice here we got we customize a bit the products tab,

'Description', we got 'Purchase Cost' here.

and also we got 'Show mark up' button where you can see mark up for each position, and we see price for each position in total,

and also you can see mark up of an absolute value for total for all products,

and total mark up present as well. Okay, so we're saving that, then we go into 'Quotes'.

So when the main idea here that
we're running that test deal through stages of requirement analysis,

we have relating the cost, and so we creating a quote in that position,

So we're selecting country,

that stage we can edit or delete a quote.

we can delete quote, create new quote, edit quote, but once we move that quote to request for approval,

so you see that the button edit, and delete is disappeared, so we can't do anything because that quote now in approval stage,

and what happened with on head of sales department portal,

so first of all, he getting approval, in the feed he getting new quote approving tasks,

so that means that he got a new task for approval. Okay, and he got that notification here as well.

So he would hit notification here, and here so he pull on that task,

and here, he see all details see after the, 'Company', 'Contact', total value of the whole product,

and he see test, he see deal itself. So he can check the deal.

go to 'Quote', and check the quote,

and he can't edit it or do anything else, he can just check it, and go back to deal.

He can open a task inside the deal as well, and then he can accept that deal or exit that quote,

or decline. So in case he declined you'll just go back to one stage back,

and get notification to a manager that he need to change the quote itself.

For example, we decline it, and we need to put some comment.

So as you see, a manager got notification in the system that not approved because of that,

Now go back to one stage, and now in the revision stage instead of 'Request for approval'.

So for example manager done some changes inside of the quote, and move back to request for approval.

So in that case, head of sales department got another task.

'Required Quote for Approving', and he in that case now he will 'Accept' that quote.

Hi Emin, would you mind giving me a hint on how to customize the Products tab in the Quotes module? I would like to add some fields to the cloud-based standard form (eg. Purchase Price, Vendor, etc). Thanks in advance!
