1) Super hearing (hear people gossiping him)
2) Mind control (able to instantly tell people to STFU)
3) Reading minds (realized people thinking bad thoughts about him)
4) Unable to do maths (21)
5) Eyes are purple but actually have fire powers

MY THEORY: his power is mind control. This also means he can trick others to seeing different colors, similar to (color) illusions.

I actually saw this once. The scientific answer is the specific color and hormone (probably the wrong term) from his eyes makes an immediately effect when another person makes eye contact with him. This can cause any effect, but the original was from a villain that used it to put everybody into a rage and fight each other so he would have no problem robbing banks.

Purple is a color that symbolizes royalty and higher power. Because of this, kings and queens would often wear purple as a symbol of high status. An ability correlated with purple eyes would probably mean that every order or demand you say would be followed.

Fun fact: actually purple is mind powers, but technically purple has shadow and mind powers, which means purple is quite strong and smart
