Her attorney said the Rutgers University graduate knows she made a mistake and that it was her longing for the kinds of friendships she had in high school that made her decide to do it. Toni Yates has more.

They charge these people quicker than the bullies in the actual school.

Loneliness is a real thing.
I'm 42, single with no kids and never married. I live alone as well. People always tell me how lucky I am to not have the stress of a relationship and or kids/marriage. I always tell them in return it's not what you think it is. Imagine being alone to where the phone never rings, no social media notifications, no friends or family who actually want to get together. It's just you, and your thoughts. I wouldn't wish loneliness on my worst enemy.

As an Asian kid, moved from Asia, bullied by all kinds of Americans during high school. No amount of money would be enough for me to go back to high school. High school is the worst time of some people's life, still the worst for mine. I am eternally very grateful to get out of the phase in one piece, and heavily considering that my children or anybody I love, would be homeschool'd or not have to deal with the things I experienced.

I dont know what this lady is going through, but trying to redo her childhood this way, doesnt necessary guarantee the same meaningful connections she would get. She could be taken advantage by the people younger than her as well, even if she doesn't take advantage of anybody. Being 29 years old with minors doesn't look good on her.

I feel bad for her. She was obviously not a danger to anyone. I hope she gets better.

Life after high school is a wake up call for some.. Things really change right after graduation, Who’s leaving to go to school, Who’s going to the service, Some move to another city, another state.. Who’s starting a family.. It really changes, and can be very lonely.. You long for those good times ..

This is kind of sad but at the same time if she were a man pretending to be in HS they'd probably think he was perverted and wanted to hang out with children.

The real world after High School is a very lonely place. We all wish we could go back in time and relive the fun stressfree times and friendships we had as kids.

Really? You can have grown MEN that are 6 foot 5 and 300 pounds dressing like women that are allowed to follow 6 year old girls into ladies rooms: but a petite gentle Asian woman will be a monster for the High School kids!! Unbelievable.

She thought it was high school teen movie where people in their late 20's and 30's play the part of students

For those of us bullied and really stressed, we don’t ever wish to go back to high school!

She should have applied for community college or picked up a new hobby that involves other people. It's normal to miss a certain time of your life but she went too far. It's scary to think that she lasted a few days among minors before they caught her. At 28 I barely relate to high school kids so I don't think the friendships would have lasted long anyways.

Meanwhile the kid who shot his teacher is walking around free and no one has been charged.

My heart hurts for her. She's in a new country all by herself and didn't know anyone. I can understand why that would make anyone feel very lonely. I definitely don't think she should be charged. I hope she knows she's not alone and finds true friends in her life because we all deserve that.

If that was a man who did that there would be much more uproar.

If it was a male you guys wouldn’t say the things that you guys are saying in these comments. “ oh I understand that she was lonely I get lonely sometimes “ that’s BS you guys would say the man was a pedophile and should be thrown under the jail.

You people are hypocrites.

Yeah have a 29 year old man say he’s lonely and need new friendships with high schoolers and his desire to be welcomed by them… he’d be behind bars immediately
