A house of hope: Homeless man builds house out of wooden pallets

A homeless man in Winnipeg has drawn in eyes from all around the city, as he built himself a home from wooden pallets. Mike Albanese has his story.

I'm so thankful for the attention and help that he's since received. This is proof that not all homeless people are drug addicts, drunks, and uneducated, the way many in our society tries to portray them. I've assisted the homeless in my region for years, and I've met some of the most amazing people. God bless him, and my prayers are with him. 🙏🏽

I respect this guy to the max. He's looking for solutions, not sitting around waiting for people to find it for him or being bitter and angry. Being an alcoholic and drugged up homeless person who then leaves their surroundings filthy, nasty and created problems.

I've been homeless, but I couldn't imagine this (homeless in a foreign land), I bet it feels like the movie groundhogs day. I'm sure he is home by now though and the nightmare is finally over.

Look at how people treated him someone was jealous when they fired him and made sure no one would hire him that was a inside job someone who was so hateful but God gave him strength and came to his rescue. Amen
