As COVID-19 and winter weather collide in Rhode Island, chronically-homeless individuals are facing a choice between risking infection in shelters or sleeping in bitter cold. The House of Hope CDC believes it has a solution that will address both issues. Laura Jaworski, Executive Director of House of Hope, shared ECHO Village (Emergency COVID Housing Opportunities), a proposal for tiny homes used as emergency shelter providing safety, security, and an escape from COVID-19 and the bitter cold.
