So the golden question is how do we treat the central nervous system? I suppose another is how to know if the tightness is real (i.e. my pelvic floor really is in knots) or perceived (TMS)?

Not really helping, think the key is meditation and the stretches real tension it's on the inne right thigh. Hold stretches for two minutes at max range. Pelvic floor therapy doesn't work. Strength stretching for pelvic pain is a great website with tons of information.

I have cpps and I’m convinced that it’s caused all by the mind (in most cases)

Nope this is bullshit. I have bph which is a direct result of tightness in my pelvic floor. If my pelvic floor won’t recover, I’ll still have trouble doing with number 1, 2, and Sex.
