I found it beautiful that Gergana still hasn't asked us for the name of our youtube channel. She was just purely happy to be on an adventure with strangers. I just texted her and asked if she wanted to see the video, and it makes me happy in my heart to know that there are so many positive comments towards her and Bulgaria in this comment section <3 / Staffan

Please take Gregana on a bucket list trip for her. The warmth she showed you all was so heartwarming.

As Bulgarians we want to thank you so much for showing our homeland to the world! This video will make more for Bulgaria's reputation and tourism, than all the efforts of the bulgarian government. Enjoy life and НАЗДРАВЕ! 🇧🇬❤

I am Mexican and my fiancé is Bulgarian. Two years ago I was there and it felt like home.
The people are extremely friendly, so charming and the food is magnificent.
I love Bulgaria 🇧🇬 ❤

I am Greek, and my family immigrated to Bulgaria in the 1970s, fleeing from home to escape unfair persecution. Ever since, Bulgaria has welcomed us and given us a second chance in life. Here, my family flourished despite the hardships of the 1990s and early 2000s. Nowadays, this place seems to be a haven for young people, low unemployment and cheap prices. I have an international job that allows me to travel a lot, but thankfully, I always return home to Bulgaria. The people here are the nicest and most helpful I have ever met. I hope you will soon visit and explore what this diverse place has to offer. You’d be impressed!

Thank you, Yes Theory, for finally showing a glimpse of this piece of heaven and, of course, for introducing us to Gergana! She is a gem!

An ex-pat Dubliner here, living in Bulgaria nearly 15yrs now. I live in a rural village close to Burgas. I work here. Love Bulgaria and Bulgarians. My better half is Bulgarian and very good friends with Geri. They had a trip to Rome earlier this year with a gang of Bulgarians and loved it. Bulgarians don't have a lot, but they are intelligent, clever, very practical and know how to make the most of what they have. Geri is a wonderful, very positive person, a unique human being, a whirlwind of positive energy. You were very lucky to meet her as you did.

For me, as a romanian, this video is a re-confirmation of how friendly and full of joy Bulgarians are!
I live in UK and I can say every single bulgarian I ever meet is a great ambasador for his country!
Congratulations for the video!

I’ve lived there for almost 2 years, and I went from “where the fuck am I” to “ Bulgaria will always have a place in my heart”.
The vibe is incredible, the people are extremely nice and friendly and if you go there with an open mind, you will end up meeting people with a beautiful heart and open arms.
I arrived there with ideas and stereotypes about Eastern and Balkan countries, and I ended up living 2 of the most beautiful years of my life in Bulgaria.
Благодаря България and see you real soon 🤍

I immediately knew that this video is going to be about Bulgaria when I saw the thumbnail and the title 🥲
Still happy that it gets some global recognition! ❤️
Greetings to all Bulgarian brothers and sisters from Germany 🇧🇬🇩🇪

I had a friend in college who was from Bulgaria. He loved the fact that he came from there and really enjoyed the Bulgarian way of life. He said his favorite things were swimming in the Black Sea in the morning. He also said the fruits from there were way better than the fruits he had in the US. However, he also realized that there weren't many opportunities in the country either, and he had plenty of opinions about the state of the government. He told me his dream was to eventually buy some land near the Black Sea, plant some fruit trees and some vegetables, and live the good life. I hope he gets that, someday.

When I was 19 I flew to Bulgaria by myself and stayed with friends for a month. We traveled to 9 cities and saw the most incredible parts of the country. 12 years later and it's still one of the best trips of my life. Mersi mnogo for sharing the beautiful country of Bulgaria ♥

A Bulgarian here: Thank you for showing Bulgaria the way it actually is: a place with rich culture, worthy to explore. Yes, our politics suck and will suck for years to come, probably that’s why there’s prejudice against BG. But the country is an amazing place to visit and you have shown it very well in the video, blagodarya, guys! Your film actually made me look more positively on my own country.

I'm Greek and I find Bulgarian people lovely, down to earth and we surely have something in common; we know how to enjoy life despite the challenges!

Low prices mean low salaries. Since Bulgaria is part of the EU, they can move and work visa free in any other EU country for much higher salaries. The reason for population decline is this simple.

PSA: bedbugs are NO joke. Never sleep somewhere where there are signs of bedbugs. And if you do, make sure to wash ALL of your clothes and items in boiling water before bringing them back into your house. It’s not worth it for a video.

I definitely didn't expect to see a video on Bulgaria here 😂
Most of us bulgarians are very friendly and the best thing about Bulgaria is its nature.
