I honestly thought I would never be able to play this on guitar 🎸. And here we are, 2 years later, I was right

The bassist doesnt get enough love. He simply understands the assignment and executes perfectly. This whole band is flawless.

That drummer is an absolute genius of using space as sound. He knows exactly what he wants to achieve. Amazing guy

As a guitarist, I have to say that the drummer is so criminally underrated! He is the reason this song sound so good! The whole band is amazing.

The timing of the drummer, when he hits the ride and then grips it noticing exactly how his hand will make the sound dissipate. LEGENDARY skills.

I love how they often finish each other's rhythmic statements. Listen to 3:06 - 3:09 The guitar starts the phrase and drums almost finishes the phrase until the guitar comes back in. Think about the technical level to go from a rip to a groove and back so effortlessly while maintaining that tight pocket. Amazing. All of them.

HOW DOES SOMEONE EVEN BEGIN WRITING SOMETHING LIKE THIS?!?! Its like someone fell down a flight of stairs with their guitar plugged in and somehow turned it into one of the tastiest riffs of the century

The guitarist is amazing, but nobody talks about the groove of the drummer, it's crazy bruh
And the bassist is a groove guy too
Amazing work

Really appreciate how each piece of the band is given time to shine in this song. People tend to see the bass as a supporting sound in a band, but it's really given a spotlight at certain points in this song, and Clay crushes it every step of the way.

After playing guitar over 20 years, and listening to thousands and thousands of prolific work by other guitarists from fingerstyle/tap, to jazz, blues, and everything else under the sun— this absolutely blew my fucking mind.

Don't be fooled, the drummer is the one guiding the whole team while playing. The drummer is the GOAT.

This is polyphia's most popular video, and I can see why. My friend began playing 'the worst' and I enjoyed it so much that I asked him to send the spotify link to me. Since then, I've been listening to polyphia, and this masterpiece is my second favourite, first being the worst. Thanks to my friend, and thanks to you guys for bringing us this masterpiece.
