The Best Free to Play MMORPGs to Play RIGHT NOW in 2021!

There are several MMORPGs slated for release this year: Blue Protocol, TL Origin, Lost Ark, New World, PSO2 New Genesis. Yet there are still plenty of MMO players wondering what to play. They can't necessarily afford subscription MMOs like Final Fantasy XIV or World of Warcraft, or even single-purchase MMOs like Black Desert or The Elder Scrolls Online. That's where this list comes in. It's a subjective look at what I believe you should spend your time in if you're looking for something to hold your attention until the new releases.

End of Dragon's is coming out in Feb 2022. But you can Pre-Order is now (Sept 2021).

I recommend giving Adventure Quest 3D a try. It’s a very unique free to play mmo and the community is great and just keeps on growing even though it’s still in Early Access. I can’t say much about the story because there are more surprises in it than you can count. Its very much a story driven game. It’s at the moment my all time favorite free to play game. Plus, all classes, except Guardian, can be unlocked for free. Anyways, great video!

It's good to see Tera on the list. That release was ground breaking and defined a whole new genre of MMO by which I judge every single MMORPG by now. It's still super fun to play but if you've been playing it for years like I have then just like anything, it can get a bit boring. If you've never played it though, it's my top 2 F2P recommendations along with Guild Wars 2.

For Secret World, you should mention that fans of modern horror stories will love all the references to King, Lovecraft, Poe, and others. Trust me, it’s a major draw. 😀
