My buddy has a massive mature one on his property so i told him it was invasive and should be removed, he said he likes the shade it provides 🤦‍♂️

If it's just one or two random plants a little bit of lighter fluid on the base/roots works good. But it can contaminate the soil for many. Also works good for grass and weeds in sidewalk cracks and brick patios. It's a lot easier pulling dried grass and weeds out of sidewalk cracks a week after they die.
