It ain’t about how you start. It’s about how far you go at the end of the journey

They must be talking about the tire spin 0-60, because the truck sure didn't get up to no 60

And all your freight just slammed the back doors!

Three questions: 1) how far can it go pulling a full load (80, 000 pounds) thru the mountains, 2) how long does it take to fully recharge the battery, and 3) where is it going to get that

Now add 42, 000 pounds on the rear axle and its done

Trucks are made to haul freight up to 600 miles a day, Batteries belong on a golf cart.

And cut cargo capacity about 15, 000 lbs for the added weight of the batteries.

With a towing capacity of 8 miles I'm impressed.

Difference in this trucks and telsa semi is these have a cat Diesel generator in the front that chargers the batteries it runs when batterys are low

This truck is being developed by Edison Motors out of British Columbia, Canada. It runs a diesel-electric hybrid drivetrain where the diesel engine is a genset (not connected to the wheels and only runs when the batteries are low). Described by the company founder as having its own onboard charging station to increase range, the fully electric truck is aimed at the vocational market and for remote operation.

I've been following the development and the company is a group of loggers who are all about the right to repair.

Tesla still in testing Semi and recently said Battery supply was Yuge obstruction to production. Freightliner eCascadia units have been sold and in use on Ltd basis.
In Short, Don't hold your breath, hoping for rapid deployment of Juice Rigs. The hype on improved, less costly batteries is just that.
Many decades will pass b4 all electric Rigs R viable.
Hybrids are much closer to that goal.

The cost of the batterys and the electrical power to run them is insane. As well as the multi ton's batteries that weigh more than the engine itself.
