How to build a Coyote Cage Trap. Attempt #1.

This is just a quick look at how to build a cage trap for coyotes. It is still a work in progress and as the season progresses I may make some changes to it depending on how well it works. Good job buddy but you can dig a hole in the ground and set your trap
Over the hole make sure trap pane is back 3in

I'm really interested in how that trap works out.. I'm building your cat trap right now.. So I was pretty curious as to whether I could catch yotes that way too... I do think i'll lengthen the pan some.. I want the critter on the pan as soon as it enters the trap.. So I for one am anxious to see if yotes can be caged with any consistency . Keep'em coming

Cant imagine too many yotes that will go inside a cage

I think you will have to make the cages longer to catch a coyote.

I live in WA and I have seen guys try all kinds of stuff to catch coyotes and NONE of it ever works. Once in a while someone will catch one on accident targeting bobcats but they are usually young or sick.
