I hate when they don’t tell you the price. The prices are ridiculous.
For their 50 second extinguisher, it’s $90. For the 100 second extinguisher, it’s $120.

Looks like it delivers almost no extinguishing agent and you would need to be within a foot of the fire. That bit on the bbq is probably pushing the limits already.

Just spent all day looking for fire extinguishers in a highschool/theatre. I like that they are big and visible.

Its very small. As complimentary use ok but I prefer personally traditional extinguishers. In a fire situation the thing that should worry you less is the powder mess . I personally keep several 5lb abc at home and two aerosols 1l foam for the kitchen and 750ml for lithium battery. Also a fire blanket 1x1m and several smoke alarms .

The problem with this is they provide no cooling effect. So fires where there is material at or above ignition temperature (wood, grease, fuel, etc) it will snuff the flames but the material will almost immediately auto-ignite again. These are handy in the motorcycle, rv space. They also can be a great additional resource because they are so small and don’t expire every few years. But overall if you have the space for a real fire extinguisher, stick with the classic.

It's a normal potassium nitrate extinguisher for many times the price.

They're not even the only flare style propellant extinguisher. You can get a case of chimfex flare style extinguishers for about the price of one of these sticks.

This is classic fear mongering and gilding lilies.

People are saying it’s too expensive in a regular fire extinguisher would be better but for jobs and tasks where you can’t carry around the 20 pound fire extinguisher everywhere it’s very handy
