This changed the way I look at Voltage and Current..!
Both the parameters say a thing about electrons in motion. One depicts the speed at which they flow; other depicts HOW many flows. Wow !

It has been some time since I was in electronics school but I thought electricity flows from negative to positive. In your example above 3:23 you say it flows from positive to negative.. would you be so kind as to clarify.. thanks

@Atalanttore: You are right, but the Pin 13 has a build in resistor. In the next episodes, I talk about it :)

Just a question:
So if 6V is the power source voltage in the series circuit, then electrons go 3x faster at the source than through the diodes? Thanks.

Nice explanation, but don't we need a pre-resistor for each LED?

Is there any chance of doing a review of Arduino Simulators. We use Simulator for Arduino and were wondering is this was the best debugging tool for Arduino

I don't think electric potential (measured in volts) determines the speed of electron flow, rather it attempts to drive current (more electrons) through the load.

There are several factors in studying circuits. One plan I discovered that succeeds in merging these is the Gregs Electro Blog (google it if you're interested) definately the no.1 course that I have ever seen. look at this awesome resource.

The basic circuit consists only of one load, the parallel circuit has got two (and can have more) of'em.

I had Physics in 7th class and almost evrything of this episode was wrong. For example in the dividing circuit he told the power is everywhere equal but that's wrong.Electricity takes the way with less resistance.Wich means only the first lamp is glowing.
