Sir, I'd like to know one more doubt about the formulae of these vector products . Why are they the way they are? Like why is cross product absin(theta)? Why not tan or cot or anything other trigonometric function?
Is it because the mathematicians firstly came up with a definition for cross product and found out that their definition is represented by a specific expression? Even if so, why choose that specific definition in the first place?
