We are in Salem, New York, where we see Southern New England RS36 5012 as it starts up to do work on the Batten Kill Railroad. Once the engine is started, we see the workhorse of the BKRR, Greenwich and Johnsonville RS3 4116, as it gets worked on a bit. The 4116 wouldn't start until later in the day. Enjoy the sounds of the ALCO 251B of the 5012 as it starts. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on November 9th, 2022.

Think that this is the most recent BKRR video that I have seen so far. Thanks for posting it. Hopefully, the BKRR is thriving right now.

Sounds like a WDM-3A locomotive with the same engine

5012 is a beautiful beast, though I do have an honest question. Are we seeing it from the front or from the back initially?
