It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.
By perseverance the snail reached the ark.
Of two evils, choose neither.
Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strength.
Beware of no man more than of yourself; we carry our worst enemies within us.
The Lord gets his best soldiers out of the highlands of affliction.
Oh, brethren, be great believers! Little faith will bring your souls to heaven, but great faith will bring heaven to you.
You cannot slander human nature; it is worse than words can paint it.
Many men owe the grandeur of their lives to their tremendous difficulties.

Humility is to make a right estimate of one's self.

I have my own opinion that there is no such thing as preaching Christ and Him crucified, unless we preach what nowadays is called Calvinism. It is a nickname to call it Calvinism; Calvinism is the gospel, and nothing else.

I appreciate your honesty - in my days in the old IFB, they would quote Spurgeon and others to give credibility to their movement, but edit out or hide their Calvinism. You guys openly admit you're completely out of the historic stream of the Reformation, deny all the historic creeds and confessions, and follow your own brand of Pelagianism and Antinomianism. The only thing I think you ought to do is also remove the names "Fundamental" and "Baptist", for that mislabels your movement as theologically you don't fit into those categories either. "Anabaptist" might be more accurate.
