After battling intense heat, severe drought, fires, and relentless smoke, farms throughout Montana pushed though the rough season and wrapped up harvest 2017. Epic/Cinematic music combined with spectacular 4K drone footage across this Montana farm is a recipe for a tremendous viewing experience. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Special thanks to: Wanken Farms for letting me film their operation!

Edited with Cyberlink's PowerDirector 16

DJI Mavic Pro was the drone used in this video.

We were customer harvesters for many years, been over more acres and moved more grain than I would care to recall. Never in all of that did we ever see a Bud on the cart!!!! 👍 Good lookin red machines, we ran the green stuff forever and Gleaner that. Great video

I always consider pulling the grain cart around the field as an "easier" job than driving the combine.... apparently not on wanken farm:) lol

Very cool to see an HN/KT series on a grain cart. Is the pto a hydraulic set up? This is the only Big Bud I have ever viewed doing pto work.

Really awesome, and so well filmed! I didn't know where all of our wheat come from, or how it was grown and harvested.

Aww darn lol. Do you hire outside hire or is all completely family run? I love learning through your videos. Im familiar with how you load up the Big Brute because Im in citrus and we load our sprayers kind of similar. We use cones and pour the chems in and gets sucked into sprayer. But your setup would work as well if the company wanted to invest in it. I work for Alico. Inc. We produce the most boxes of oranges a year in the U.S. But I would love to drive a combine lol

Hey buddy. I would like your opinion on the possibility of the Big Bud Tractors being brought back, and being manufactured on a 2 fold system. 1. Fully custom built for the client that spares no expense. A lot more I can get into this one. I have been working on a “info packet of custom high end add on’s”
Pertaining to this one. But I haven’t finished it. Yet. Here is a condensed version run down on it.

A. Custom electric blinds or the ones that change with the amount of sheer brightness. Just like my custom Ralph Lauren Prescription Sunglasses. Brighter it gets the darker they get.

B. Custom high end sound systems. From the likes of Polk Audio, Klipsch, By Klipschorn.
Rockford Fosgate and the sound system I’m extremely keen towards is by Bang & Olufsen. Because I know them personally and all the other ones. The others are, outstanding. No doubt about it. But I love the B&O in my 2016 Mercedes S Class AMG 65.

C. Full custom interior. High end coffee pots etc. (again, a lot more on the custom build one I can speak on. )

In my travels as an Officer at Sea I was blessed to travel to 48 Different Countries. Including Australia and New Zealand. And I became friends with some different Aussie farming families. Dryland farms!! They have many sayings and here is one.

“Anything under a 100 thousand acres is a hobby farm. “. These farming families have seen photos videos of the Big Bud and all have told me if they ever start to get manufactured again, each family would sign “letters of intent to purchase.” And the number of Tractors they would buy. One family said “I’m good for 4 right off the top Ed.” Another family said “8. We would buy 8 of them tomorrow!” As long as we can get them with the 900 HP.

So what’s your opinion Dan. Do you think a shop could stay busy year around with building custom ones and standard model ones??
