Along the Edge 2023 - Montana Wheat Harvest with an Epic View

With a higher-yielding wheat crop this year, I didn't have as much time to pick up the camera and film for this year's harvest video. However, I was still able to put this short film together highlighting the season.

My family farms and ranches Northwest of Winifred, Montana in and around what's called the Missouri River Breaks area, which is comprised of rugged 1,000 foot cliffs that the rivers and drainages have carved out. I work full-time as the owner of AgriStudios, an ag-focused media production company that helps clients share the story of their role in the world's most important industry. However, during harvest, I work full-time in the field until the work is done.

Made me feel weak at the knees seeing them opening up this field from the air. Wow wow and wow again.

There´s just something about these videos that makes me feel happy and warm inside. The beautiful scenery, the familiarity, the upbeat music, the gorgeous shots of combines at sunset.... It feels like home. Thanks for another year!

My grandmother grew up in the countryside of the state of Virgi, . She and my great-grandmother used to make pig feet in the oven. It's awesome to see how others on the other side of the globe in a different culture make them. And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.

I worked for the Peterson in the summer of 2005. Had the privilege of helping harvest in some of these beautiful fields. Good memories of harvest suppers with the Slivka family. Glad it was a good harvest for you and the biggest worry was finding enough bin space!

I know you guys aren’t John Deere people, but that 9770 is one of the best combines to ever roll out of the harvester works in East Moline, Illinois. It was one of the last Pre-DPF combines from John Deere.

Beautiful country uo there. Been through there a few times picking up fall calves for delivery to feedlots. Have hauled many loads out of stonr lx at Lewistown and countless ranchers all over Montana. Great people.
