I have a tip for yall that can't inflate them! When you are doing the first step and knotting the paper, DONT flatten it! This will make your star puffy! I started doing this accidentally and works like a charm! Try it if you can't make your stars poofy!

Tip as someone who's been doing this for 3-4😅 years
• if you don't know the size of the paper, I like to use 1 cm for the smaller part and 14 cm for the longer side.
• After you fold it properly, the paper itself leads you to where you should fold next.
• To make it fluffy make sure no finger is holding it or in contact from the back or front. Pinch the corner at the same time with two of your hands, and then pinch the other corners


Did you know you could write notes in them for someone and they could open what your noted for them

Here are the slight frustrations I have encountered when making these paper stars and how to try to avoid them :)

Make sure your paper strip is even and not big. Idk, I've tried big strips and I can't exactly make a star out of large strips yet.

Puff them up a little.
As in don't wrap them too tight but tight enough to see the shape.


Either cut the tail or fold it if the end won't go into a pocket.

In my opinion, when I make stars it have a 8 or 9 inch tall and at most half an inch wide strip of flexible paper.

I do not recommend using card stock 💀. You do not need nails for this btw, just press the sides :)

Not every star will be perfect but I accept the odds. Pros and cons are everywhere but it's up to yourself and others on what side you focus on or work to focus on.

●they will think it's a stupid and dont have any meaning.
● they will scold u for this
● You'll be happy when u made it

● you're able to give up but u won't
● you'll practice hard
● finally u made it
● you're happy than anything else.
●you're smiling while watching the star 🌟
●your parent will never know what affort you've put in.
●they will never watch the hardwork u did to make it
