Today's review is for the Knipex Carpentry End Cut Pliers with Hammer Head Style, part # 51-01-210. I don't use a full since hammer in my typical work day with service work, but sometimes I need a "Hammer". I purchased these because they would fit in my bag, and work for that purpose. I have since realized how great End Cut Pliers are and wanted to share with you my thoughts. Maybe like me, you have thought I don't need those... but they work really well and I use them all the time now.

Let me know what you think about End Cut Pliers, or these particular ones if you have them.... or let me know if you have any questions in the comments below. THANKS SO MUCH FOR WATCHING!

Really interesting tool. I would have never thought of adding a flat edge to end cutters but the combination makes perfect sense!

I have a pair of the channellock end cutters like this and they work well. But I will be getting a pair of these knipex. As a pipefitter we use these for stainless tie wire on steam tracing and I have seen the insulators use them for attaching insulation in piping and tanks. Great video as always!👍🏻

Well, technically every tool may be a hammer if you're brave enough.
Interesting tool BTW. And as with Knipex - it really does what it's supposed to do.

May just use that affiliate link 🤔 36% off not bad!

Definitely always reaching for the lineman’s as a hammer. But this would be a bit more beneficial

Fun fact I worked with a guy who would use hoof pullers as duct pullers between the drive ears, they worked better then the duct stretchers anyway!

Would you consider using these to remove nails from a pallet?

Those work suprisingly well as a hammer from your demonstration! I use the bolt end cutting nippers I think the 6102200. they work great for prying stuff out but wouldnt want to use them as a hammer.

Bingo, Brother ! I carry one in my TP XXL, along with a small deadblow mallet, and a 6oz Crosspien with a shortened handle ! Word of advice, grab a piece of scrap leather, to protect surfaces !
