Thank you so much for this. I am completing my Master's degree in Psychology, and most of my research has been on Truth and Reconciliation, and this was such an amazing presentation. It brought me to tears...especially the part where you tell the story about the deer...and this just hit me so hard...this is what ALL Canadians should strive to understand with life...to understand the beauty of life, and honouring and respecting it. Canadians can learn so much from the indigenous people who are the heart and soul of our country. It is so important for our children to learn about our "true" history.

I always learn something new from each presentation Kevin
Lamoureux gives. I admire Kevin for using his intelligence and gift of speech to
patiently teach about Canada’s Indigenous cultures and history so we can improve
as a society. He has made it his life’s work to educate about Canada’s horrific
and shameful past, even when, often, people just do not want to hear it.

We are an ancient people who were wronged by Canadian government. In court on April 02nd 2024 the Canadian government still claimed it was not responsible for the harm suffered by the Metis and Non Status people in the Sixties Scoop. Truth and Reconciliation is not possible.
