A freeze can be devastating to a citrus tree so in this video I do you how to protect your citrus trees Freon a freeze. Hopefully by taking these measures you will save your lemon, orange or any other citrus tree you might be protecting from a frost.
It’s important to use frost covers and not plastic. Plastic will make the tree colder. Frost covers are not plastic and they can raise the temperature of your tree a couple of degrees.
I have a lemon and orange tree that I’m protecting. Both of these citrus trees are still young, but they should make it through the winter with everything I’ve done.

Here’s a few of my favorite brands that I use in my garden. I make a small commission at no additional cost to you.

Any suggestions if your citrus tree got caught in the recent arctic frost Zone 8b, Md, to “bring it back” (e.g., leaves dying but branches still green)?
