Is ecosia lying to us?

Ecosia claims to plant trees for clicks and search. But if you look, the numbers vary with every refresh of the page.

It’s an approximation of the trees planted.

Its quite obviously an approximation not an actual count... to keep track of that number of trees (whether or not ecosia is legitimate) would be impossible for any company. Also your name is spelt wrong ;)

They claim to plant 1 tree every .8 seconds.. I smell lies.. still digging for them.
