Further to this, in 2019 there were around 20 million content creators on YouTube. In 2024 there are around 120 million. It has grown 6x so essentially 6x harder to get views as a new creator.

Just kidding, the reasons you mentioned not to do it are exactly why I haven't started yet - gotta set priorities. Also in e-commerce (B2C) it makes much less sense than in let's say a service based business. Although, me being a German entrepreneur in China may be an interesting story to tell.
