In this video I review the security of the Master lock Mini Travel Safe. I show that although Master lock seem to have fixed some former weaknesses, it is still a terribly insecure way to store your valuables, and not at all to be recommended.

So... it looks like the button to open it is DIRECTLY connected to the locking latch, and because the case is made of flexible plastic, just a bit more force will result in enough deformation to push the locking pall clear of the latch to get an open. Its probable that the same flaw happens on the other side too, with the added feature of being able to turn the code wheels until they click into thier unlock positions. Maybe its meant to be a novelty pencil case to teach kids how to pick combi locks. Im not really sure what else its meant to be.

Amazing how a security lock manufacturer that has been around forever, is so sloppy and clearly doesn't care about quality or security. They're stealing your money just like the thief breaking into one of their products are.

I bought one of these a while back. Mine always opened irrespective of the combination. Piece of junk.

Yeah but it's personal... It's meant for you just to have it with you to store your phone or whatever. Just to nobody else touches it.. That's it.. It's not meant to save all of your important stuff and leave the house. This person. Or this is just something you take when you're hotel and you want to put your stuff away and stash.. That's it you're expected too much of this product. .
