La Segunda Central Bakery in Ybor City has the best Cuban Sandwich I've ever had! I was there in 2023 thanks to @Visittampabay , exploring the city and recording podcasts. This bakery ships its bread all over the country, so some of the chefs I know who use it suggested I pay "the mother ship" a visit. One bite alone was worth the trip to Ybor City.
