Crazy why did they care if people lined up if they wanted to disperse people they could just handed out numbers right then. The idea of numbers handed out for later line was weird. Great finds but Id been put off.

Great Finds, I hope once Amazon builds its Warehouse in Woodburn Oregon that some Liquidation places open up around the Salem/Portland area.

😮😮$14😂😂 They MUST be starting high to discourage Resellers. Our bins store is open Tuesday - Saturday, starting at $6, then $4, $2, $1, and 25 cents. Personally, I wouldn't fight that crowd for a $14 starting point, but I am glad you picked up the few items you did.

There's one of those stores on the other side of town, but I haven't ever gone. You know how it is in the city, 20 miles away = 1 hour drive, plus I just don't do well in crowds. I think ours starts at $8, and I know people do get good deals sometimes. I appreciate you showing us all your store, it's exactly what I expected, lol. And congratulations to your daughter on all her hard work!! Straight A's is a great achievement!

My Amazon bin store has really gone down in supply, I haven’t gone for months. I participate in online auctions and they buy Amazon return pallets and just got a small child/dog pool for home use and another to resell, they average at $200 - I got one for $21 and the other for $24
I pay online then go pick up when I’m ready
But you got some sweet deals!

We have a couple of them but the first day is $10 an item and most things aren't worth it. If you go on cheaper days, it is hit or miss. I find Goodwill, Goodwill bins, Garage Sales, and Estate Sales have a much better ROI. If you can find someone selling pellets of Amazon returns, that is money though. I have someone that has pallets for $350 sometimes and they are usually worth 3x that.

We have a bin store here in NC, but they DO NOT allow you to open boxes, in fact they will kick you out if you do! No returns, so if it doesn't work, so sorry... on the upside, I have gone on 25 cent day and scored some decent items to resell-mostly in the $10-$15 range.

We have what's called Kool Bins in my area and it is nothing but junk. No name brands that I am familiar with. So awesome that your kiddo wants to go thrifting with you. Special daddy daughter bonding time!!

I love my bin store but they don't have shopping carts. We have to use the large Ikea type bags they have and you can only have one bag at a time. Once your bag is full you have to check out and put your items in your car. You can then come back in and get another bag. Before they implemented that policy, people were bringing their own wagons inside which were too big for our much smaller store. They would also grab every item they could, stack them in a corner with someone standing guard and then once they had sometimes 100s of items their team would start going thru the stacks and throwing back what they didn't want. It was ruining it for the rest of us so I'm glad they have the 1 bag at a time rule.
